Wild Trail Jerky didn't start in a commercial kitchen or a corporate boardroom. It started in a CrossFit gym — with a simple idea: get real, high-protein, actually healthy snacks into the hands of athletes who deserved better than the sugar-loaded, preservative-packed options lining store shelves.

But it grew into something bigger than that.

Because great jerky isn't just for athletes. It's for the mom loading up her kids for a road trip. The nurse grabbing something between shifts. The hiker who needs fuel that doesn't quit. Anyone who wants a different option — something lean, clean, and made with intention.

Built, Broken, and Rebuilt

We were growing. Then 2020 hit — and the pandemic dismantled everything I had built almost overnight.

And if that wasn't enough, life had more in store. I lost my son to cystic fibrosis. I redirected everything I had left toward my daughter's health — she also lives with cystic fibrosis and diabetes. There were years where Wild Trail Jerky had to wait.

But in 2025, something happened. People started reaching out. Asking when it was coming back. Telling me they missed it. That kind of thing doesn't just feel good — it means something.

So I brought it back. And this time, I made sure every part of it reflected who I am and what I stand for.
